For the next few months this space will become a travelogue. Last year was, for me, a year of winding down longstanding commitments and making some pretty significant course corrections in life, so I'm starting this year with a project I've put off for entirely too long. I'll be traveling mostly solo until May, starting in Morocco-by-way-of-Iceland-and-London, moving up through southern Europe as the weather gives way. My only real goals are to do a lot more surfing and to get PADI certified.
I kicked of the trip this weekend with the 30th reunion of Combo Za. Coming back to Williamstown is always bizarre, and Za never fails to make it weird and awesome. This afternoon I head to Boston to visit my Grandmother, in the hospital after an accident last week, before jumping on a plane to Reykjavik.
